ONE PASSES ON FROM HERE; ANOTHER COMES

Bhau Kalchuri

One passes on from here; another comes.
One drinks blood while another eats the heart.

One becomes involved in the world; another renounces it.
One helps others, while another harms.

One is beyond the three worlds; another lives in every heart.
One creates the world's paraphernalia, while another brings wine.

One is jealous of others; another shows generosity and kindness.
One tries to lessen suffering, while another ruthlessly hurts other's feelings.

One leads a life for Meher; another serves his own self-interest.
One serves the world, while another is a spiritual hypocrite.

One is an intellectual gymnast; another forgets everything and loses his mind.
One finds everything after losing all, while another increases the nothings of nothingness.

One always incurs debts; another collects loans.
One renounces the transactions of giving and taking, while another attains liberation.

One does everything for the sake of name; another renounces name and fame.
One is aloof from all entanglements, while another involves himself in the world.

Oh Bhau, there is only One who does all these different things!
That One sees all, but who sees Him?
