Dear Friends in Beloved Avatar Meher Baba,

In late June, 100 young adults from all over the world between the ages of 19 to 35 gather at Meherabad to spend a week together in the company of the Ancient One. You are invited to join us at this event known as the Meherabad Young Adult Sahavas.

The keynote of the Sahavas is the celebration of Meher Baba's love through sharing, creative expression (such as art, music and drama) and service at Meherabad.

The Meherabad Young Adult Sahavas has been created in remembrance of the Sahaveses that Meher Baba Himself inaugurated and took part in. In the opening address "My dear children" on the first day (2nd November) of the great East-West Gathering in 1962, Meher Baba welcomed His Sahavas guests and explained the significance of Sahavas:

"You have come from great distances, not for some convention or conference, but to enjoy My company and feel afresh My love in your hearts. It is a coming together of East and West in the house of their Father."

Though Meher Baba is no longer physically present as He was in the Sahavases of the 1950s and 60s, He is still alive and well in the hearts of His lovers.

DETAILS

WHO: Young adults Baba lovers between 19 and 35 years old.

WHERE: Sahavas participants will stay at Meherabad, in Hostel C.

WHEN: June 27th morning through July 3rd afternoon, 2005. (We are only able to accept full time participants.)

COST: Rs 910 total (approximately US $20.00) for food and lodging. (Please do not send money with your application. Details about payment will be sent with the confirmation letter.)

PROGRAMS: Service Projects, Workshops, Discussion Groups, Special Guests, Sports, Evening Programs, a Meherazad Visit and more!

Application forms will only be accepted up until 1st June 2005. However, we advise that you send in your application as soon as possible as space for the Sahavas is limited.
